DAY 2
Breakfast at the hotel. By the morning Excursion to visit Lima and its history: pre-Hispanic, Colonial and modern. We start our tour with a view to the “Huaca Pucllana we visit the historic centre, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, the Paseo de la Republica, Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the City Hall among others.” Visit the Museum of the Banco Central of Reserve *, here will appreciate its “collection treasures of Peru”, a selected exhibition of gold objects, ceramic and textile of various pre-Columbian cultures. Visit the Monumental walk of San Francisco. Highlights the visit to their Crypts underground known as “catacombs”. DAY 3
Breakfast in the hotel. In scheduled time transfer to the airport to board your flight to Trujillo. Upon arrival, our collaborators will receive and will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the city of Trujillo, known as “The city of eternal spring”. On our tour, we will appreciate the historical and architectural development of the city. We will visit the Plaza de Armas, the monument to freedom, the Cathedral, the Urquiaga House that has a neo-classical style adapted as a Museum, exhibiting pieces in gold of the Chimu culture, as well as furniture from the viceroyalty and Republican period, House emancipation, the Iturregui Palace, among others. DAY 4
Breakfast. In the morning, you will visit the temples of the Sun and moon, regarded as the most influential Mochica ceremonial center of the area. Discover the inside of the Huaca de la Luna and admire its walls images in relief of their multiple deities around the Museum site, note the great artistic sensibility of the Moche, reflected also in their tissues, pottery, metal and wood. We will continue with Chan-Chan (meaning Sun-Sun), the administrative and social Center of the Chimu culture. Built on an area of 20 000 squares meters, reached a population of nearly 100,000 people. Enjoy the most important seaside resort of Huanchaco, In the since pre-Hispanic times, intrepid anglers brave the waves of the sea in rustic boats from totora (watercanes originally from America), baptized by the Spaniards as “seahorses”. DAY 5
Breakfast at the hotel. In Scheduled, time transfer by bus to the city of Chiclayo. Upon arrival, our collaborators will receive transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit to the complex of Huaca Rajada, burial site where the tomb of highest rank of the Moche culture it is been discovered: the Lord of Sipan. Then we will visit the pyramids of Tucume, the most important concentration of pyramids in the North of the Peruvian coasts, this spectacular resort dates back to the years 700 to 2000 A.d. formed by 26 colossal pyramids in an area of 200 hectares, has elevated platforms around a sacred mountain that inspired mystery, magic and power. Then we will visit the famous Royal Tombs Museum that will show us in power of the Mochicas, Warrior and daily life that they had. Return to the city. Accommodation in Chiclayo.
DAY 6
Breakfast. By the morning visit to the city of Chiclayo. We will visit the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, La Plazuela Elias Aguirre, the walk of the muses and the witches market, , where shamans or healers sell mystical products, herbs and other sorcery sessions, transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day free for independent activities, Returning transfer to the airport for your flight to Iquitos. Pick up, transfer and accommodation in Iquitos.
DAY 7
Breakfast at the hotel. We will go to the port to travel by boat through the Amazon River heading to Ceiba Tops, once there, enjoy this wonderful place in the middle of the Peruvian jungle surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens. Relax in its comfortable rooms and prepare for a hike in the afternoon in the beautiful of Ceibas. For dinne,r enjoy the best flavors of the rainforest. After dinner, your guide will take you walking to a nearby Lake where you can see alligators and find some of the insects and frogs that produce the characteristic sounds of the night. We spend the night at Ceiba Tops.
DAY 8
Early in the morning, we will have a trip where we will watch birds. We take breakfast and leave excursion in boat to the native community of the Yaguas, learn about their culture and experience. You can also see some of the local crafts and have fun with a demonstration of the use of the Blowgun that, at present, some yagua elders still use them for hunting. Back at the lodge, you will appreciate the pink and gray dolphins of freshwater. By afternoon excursion to the riverside town of Indiana and then you will see the sunset on the Amazon River. Return to the lodge and overnight at Ceiba Tops.
DAY 9
Breakfast in the hotel. In scheduled time, transfer to the airport of Iquitos to board your flight to Lima with international connection.
